The KIHA dream began in August 2005 in Bensenville, Illinois, during the first edition of the State
Wars inline hockey tournament. Hawaii players had to find a better way to prepare for these Mainland tournaments and
to be be more competitive. In 2008, the dream started to be reality. The property was purchased in February of
2008 and the construction of the facility started in January of 2009.
